We have to be ever so careful while driving when we go to the Sierra Mountains in Spring because of the little bear cubs. They suddenly dash out in front of the car from the mountainside and run across the road toward the river. Sometimes you can see them sitting on the mountainside like big teddy bears. So cute! Of course you don’t approach them, but it is wonderful to see them in their habitat.

This Baby Bear Cub quilt pattern makes a 12 inch x 12 inch bear cub quilt block.

It is perfect for stand-alone projects such as a wall hanging, table runner, pillow or a bag. It can be just as easily incorporated into a larger quilt.

The pattern for this paper pieced quilt block is made and tested by me. It is in colour and clearly numbered. A diagram is also provided in the pattern.

Basic instructions for foundation paper piecing are not included in the pattern.
