I love spending time working in my little garden, tending to my flowering plants.  If the rain continues into April, then I know my plants are going to have a wonderful summer.

This April Shower quilt pattern is quite versatile.  The umbrella can also be made into a multicolour one, or made with a person’s favourite colour. I used green grass, but I can easily imagine a flowering patch in that area instead.

April Showers quilt pattern makes 12 inch x 12 inch umbrella quilt block.

It is perfect for stand-alone projects such as a wall hanging, table runner, pillow or a bag. It can be just as easily incorporated into a larger quilt.

The pattern for this paper pieced quilt block is made and tested by me. It is in colour and clearly numbered. A diagram is also provided in the pattern.

Basic instructions for foundation paper piecing are not included in the pattern.
